Registration for Contributors
NEW! After conversion of the converence to the virtual fomat, the registration principles have been reformulated. Finally, we were able to also offer considerably reduced registration fees.
- Virtual ETS Full Paper Registration for IEEE members / non IEEE members includes: publication of one Full Paper at IEEE Xplore, access to all online Sessions (video and/or stream) and digital Symposium proceedings, a Q&A spot at the forum for discussing your paper, access to forum for Q&A with other authors. For IEEE members, a valid IEEE membership is required.
- Virtual ETS Poster Registration for IEEE members / non IEEE members includes: publication of one Poster Paper at IEEE Xplore, access to all online Sessions (video and/or stream) and digital Symposium proceedings, a Q&A spot at the forum for discussing your paper, access to forum for Q&A with other authors. For IEEE members, a valid IEEE membership is required.
- Virtual ETS Speaker/Attendee Registration includes: access to all online Sessions (video and/or stream) and digital Symposium proceedings, access to forum for Q&A with authors. All speakers not related to an IEEEXplore publication (e.g. in Hot Topics, Case Studies, Early Innovations, Industrial, PhD Forum Sessions) are welcome to use this category.
Each accepted ETS paper, either for poster or oral presentation, must be accompanied by a Registration by April 1, 2020. Please provide your paper ID when registering.

Fringe Workshop and Test Spring School registration options have been cancelled
The fees for each type of Registration can be found below. Advance Registration fees for ETS apply until May 1, 2020. After the expiration of the Advance Registration deadline, only Late Registration will be possible.

Cancellations
Cancellations received by 15 April 2020: Full refund will apply
Cancellations received post 15 April 2020: 50 € cancellation fee will apply
Cancellations received from 12 May 2020 onwards: No refund will apply.
Understanding the new registration model
Essentially, the Full Paper and the Poster fees can be seen as the paper handling and publishing as well as presentation handling fees, which have to be paid once per each IEEEXplore publication. In a way, it is a bound to a paper impersonalized fee, that includes one personal participation in the virtual conference. To further save costs, you should identify an IEEE member among the authors, otherwise a higher non-member fee will be charged. Please, make sure to register before the deadline. Registrations made after May 1 will be subject to a higher fee. Several authors of the same IEEEXplore publication willing to participate at the conference may request equalized payments split between them. Example: 4 authors of the same full paper want to participate. The total payment due is 120+50+50+50=270 EUR. That makes 67.50 EUR per person. Please, contact the Financial Chair to arrange this.
All other participants, including McCluskey award students and committee, informal track speakers (such as Case Studies, Early Innovations, Hot Topics and Industrial), PhD Forum participants, as well as any other speaker or attendee not related to IEEEXplore publication or whose such publication is already covered by another registration is welcome to use the EUR 50 participation fee.
Late Adjustments of Fees
Due to sufficient reconfirmed sponsorship support, we've been finally able to substantially reduce the participation fees for authors. The registration by April 1st was initially based on much higher fees. Therefore, the fact of filling out the registration form did not immediately result in charging of your card or the necessity of a bank transfer. Please, keep patience as we will trigger the actual payments around end of April.
